Dr. Tanya Kushner is a dentist with focused expertise in dental sleep medicine, orofacial pain, and temporomandibular disorders. Her clinical work centers on patients with complex, often overlapping conditions involving sleep-disordered breathing, chronic facial pain, and functional jaw disorders—areas that are frequently underrecognized, particularly in women.


DR. GEMMA G. KWOLEK, DDS
After practicing general and restorative dentistry for many years and seeing patients struggle with their sleep, Dr. Kwolek now focuses on snoring and sleep apnea treatment. She has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine.

DR. RATTAN BAINS, DMD
Dr. Rattan Bains obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University in 2004. She worked as a general dentist at Dental Care of Edmonds for 18 years and is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. She received additional training through various continuing education programs for sleep dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a diplomat on the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

DR. ELIZABETH SMITH, DMD
Elizabeth Smith is a Washington native. Her father, who was a dentist, introduced her to dentistry at a young age. During high school, she worked in his office cleaning and performing reception and sterilization duties. Later, when her older sister graduated from dental school, she became a chairside assistant. She also went on mission trips to Jamaica, Uganda, and Kenya. These experiences opened her eyes to the impact a dentist can have on people’s lives.

DR. TIFFANY LAMBERTON
Dr. Tiffany Lamberton has dual degrees in physical therapy and dentistry both from Loma Linda University in Southern California. When she graduated from LLUSD, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor dental society and had recognition in Oral Pathology and Student Leadership. She is a member of the ADA/WSDA, the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Spear Education and the Chicago Study Club. She has lectured on TMD and Airway Dentistry nationally. She is currently the President-Elect for the Pierce County Dental Society.

DR. BITA MARAGHEHPOUR
Dr. Mara is a dedicated dentist, board-certified in orofacial pain and dental sleep medicine, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through comprehensive care. With a unique blend of clinical expertise and public health experience, Dr. Mara specializes in diagnosing and treating complex facial pain, TMJ disorders, headaches, and sleep apnea.

DR. RAHUL KAKKAR
Dr. Rahul Kakkar is board certified in internal medicine, sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and obesity medicine. For many patients, these areas intersect and overlap, with each health concern worsening or even causing another.

DR. DANIEL STUARDO
Dr. Daniel Stuardo was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He practiced general dentistry for a few years before being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.
