Dr. Kushner received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. She graduated at the top of her class and received the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society Award.
Dr. Kushner practiced general dentistry for several years before specializing in the treatment of people who suffer from craniofacial pain, TMD, and sleep disorders. She has received advanced education and training in these fields, including 1,500 hours of continuing education in Craniofacial Pain, TMD, and Sleep Medicine. As such, Dr. Kushner’s extensive postgraduate learning has earned her the following recognitions: Diplomate of American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Diplomate of American Board of Orofacial Pain, and Fellow of American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
In addition, Dr. Kushner is highly respected among her peers and an active member of the community. She is also President of the Kitsap County Dental Society and a member of the Education Committee for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Kushner shares her knowledge and experience as a national lecturer with other health professionals.
