TMJ treatment varies greatly based on the insurance plan and is often limited to surgery only or with a TMJ exclusion clause in the policy.
For TMJ we are in network Providers with the following companies: Kaiser Tricare, TriWest (VA). Because of our commitment to provide the best and most up to date treatment for our patients, we choose to be out of network insurance providers for most medical insurances.
Dental insurance is not utilized within our clinic for TMJ. We bill medical insurance only.
We request payment of any applicable co-payments at each appointment. If Insurance is selected and utilized for billable services, as a courtesy, we will send claims to your insurance company on your behalf. If using a cash pay discount plan for treatment, we will not bill insurance.
Our team is experienced with medical insurance coverage for the services we provide. While we do our best to maximize your insurance benefits, you are financially responsible to the office for services provided. We also accept credit and debit cards, CareCredit, and have office payment plans available. These services are also HSA and FSA eligible.
